Its still happening early morning

Heysham  Obs
There is some pretty decent migrant weather coming up with a Biscayan depression pulling in some nice easterlies ...........deleted.....now Saturday onwards - anyone able to cover Saturday morning (note the Barred Warbler at Fleetwood today (Monday) plus a significant Twite arrival which Alan will post on later)

Ringing recoveries
An overshooting Twite ringed at Heysham on 21/10/2010 as a 1 CY Male was caught 'back to the north-west' at Askam-in-Furness, Duddon estuary on 12th November.  This assumes of course that it is of western Scottish origin and not one of the very few Pennine birds which has carried on roughly in the same direction whence it came

Some fairly unremarkable returns from the summer with our first and long overdue Lesser Whitethroat control being particularly disappointing - it was from Rossall!!!!
