Plenty of waders, but nothing different

The SW wind eased. Drizzle in the morning then overcast for the rest of the day.

South shore - high water 10:10 (MD)

I went on the shore out from the saltmarsh to see what the tide brought in. There were thousands of waders and many thousands more just a little further south. All just the regular birds though.

This clip through the drizzle is rubbish (if I do say so myself!), but gives a sense of the activity. It's basically Lapwing in foreground, Curlew in the background and some of the Dunlin, Bar-Tailed Godwit and Knot flying around. 

By the time I'd got to Red Nab the tide was starting to ebb.

Pale-bellied Brent geese 28 including 2 separate birds, but they were not ringed. As the tide was receding they were swimming to the outer rocks to reach the newly emerging gutweed.
