Heavy early morning rain followed by a largely sunny day with just the occasional heavy, but short shower.
South shore (Malcolm)
An early evening check located just 4 adult and a first calendar year Mediterranean gull. But I left the beach by the jetty shortly after it was exposed. The sun reflecting from the sea and wet mud made seeing difficult and optics dangerous.

There was a young family of Dunnock, while the other youngsters were taking advantage of seeds left by visitors, this one was finding plenty of natural food around the newt pond.
