Two Little Tern in fishing then headed NW towards Barrow, another one out distantly later.
Sandwich Tern: 74 in then quite a bit of both ways but did include c70 out.

Gannet 5 plus 2 in - all adults
Common Scoter 2
c20 Swallow low over the sea heading in.

Greylag a pair over heading purposely west towards Walney.
Canada Goose 11 on the beach (then north over HNR at 07:20) - not the same flock seen by Pete

So, blue ring and a white feather, if nothing else it should allow recognition as being the same bird if seen here again. Hopefully it is also seen elsewhere. |
