Ocean Edge foreshore
This is the best 'spectacle' birding in the area at the moment with thousands of waders finding the newly-configured channel and wet mud to their liking.

Purple Sandpiper - 1 at least on wooden jetty

Tufted Duck - 4
Little Grebe - 1

Moths
Winter Moth along the road towards the traffic lights - SD46A. Several in both 10km squares between reserve entrance and traffic lights on 7/12
