Corporate nosh for the 3CY Med

Heysham Obs
The lefovers from the biodiversity audit banquet were dispatched over the north harbour wall today in the direction of Lesser Black-backed, Herring, Black-headed Gulls and the single remaining 3CY Belgian-ringed Med Gull

North harbour wall
Twite - 97, including 5-6 unringed and the usual Machrihanish-ringed bird
Goldfinch - 3
Rock Pipit - 1
Linnet - 2
Med Gull - 3CY
Red-throated Diver - one offshore
Purple Sandpiper - along the seawall at lunchtime

Ocean Edge/Red Nab
Wigeon - 42
Rock Pipit - 2

Mute Swan - 6 (2 juv)
Coot - 5
Moorhen - 6
Mallard - 8
Tufted Duck - 10

Mammals
Grey Seal - 1 harbour mouth

Conditions on the incoming tide were not suitable for seawatchng with very poor visibility.  Similarly, there was no 'vis' except perhaps Rock Pipit
