Bonaparte's Gull was showing very well in the harbour mouth late afternoon in association with 5-6 Black-headed Gulls sitting on the water and carrying out short flights
A flock of
11 Med Gulls was on the mudflats between Heysham one and the wooden jetty
Two Little Gulls were mobile around the outfalls area
Two juvenile Curlew Sandpiper were in Ocean Edge saltmarshg creek this morning before being spooked by an alarm-calling Redshank and flying out to the tideline and mingling with Dunlin, Grey Plover etc
