Meadow Pipits on the move

Heysham Obs


Landbird coverage 0900 intermittently to midday
Jack Snipe - one flushed from private area - appeared to land nearby but view obscured
Blackbird - at least 6 long-winged migrants
Rock Pipit - one north wall
Otherwise dead e.g. no Goldcrest seen


Vis mig
Carrion Crow - flock of 5 north
Grey Wagtail - one north
alba Wagtail - 3 north
Meadow Pipit - 26 north (up to 3 together)


Miscellany
Twite 2, Linnet 7, Goldfinch 3 on north wall seed
Scaup - 2CY male model boat pond
Pochard - 3 males as above
Kittiwake - 4 harbour
