A scattering of interest

Heysham Obs
Not a lot of obvious migration but a few bits and bobs 0730-0930ish

Miscellaneous
Redwing - one grounded by office then high to east
Med Gull - 2nd S by sewage pipe
Little Gull - ad winterish end of Stage 2 outfall
Purple Sandpiper - 3 under wooden jetty, then one appeared to fly from the north with Turnstone & land under the NHW by the feeding station
Twite - min. 33
Wheatear - 2 oe foreshore + 5 Sand Plant
Coal Tit - 2 moving north along Moneyclose Lane 1030hrs

Vis 0730-0800 (office), then 0930-1015 (north wall)
Meadow Pipit - just 10 north 0730-0800 + 6 0930-1015 & several grounded
Woodpigeon - 2 north
Grey Wagtail - one north
Chaffinch - one high to north
Collared Dove - one as above
Siskin - 2 NE

Elsewhere
Green Sandpiper Skerton Weir. Gull-calling Bittern heard at Leighton Moss (central/western end) at dusk, but not possible to see what was going on movement-wise. Otherwise a lot of activity for little reward being the order of the day.
